■ TOKYO OFFICE (Projects in China)
Sou Fujimoto Architects is looking for architects (project leader and Senior Architect) to join its firm in Tokyo immediately. The candidate is expected to have extensive experience in Chinese region. The details can be found below and on dezeenjobs (https://www.dezeenjobs.com/company/sou-fujimoto-architects/). - Architect with 8+ years of experience, having led projects and design teams in China
- experienced in ALL project phases including construction follow up (must be able to draw construction drawing)
- experienced projects include Public, Cultural, Commercial complex, housing etc.
- ability to manage and supervise teams to carry out projects according to the criteria of cost, quality and deadlines – economic and financial management, planning
Senior Architect x 1
- Architect with 4~5 years of experience in China
- has experienced (at least) schematic design phase
Here are the requirements for both positions;
- fluent in Mandarin and English
- have worked in leading architecture firm in China (either based in China, or at Chinese branch of renowned international firm).
- bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture
- experienced with Chinese Building Code and regulations.
- experienced with Chinese Planing/Building permission procedure.
- highly skilled in AutoCAD, Rhino and Adobe CS. Grasshopper, V-ray or Revit will be a plus
- ability to work in a team, with a wide variety of actors = clients, consulting firms, work managers
